AI room redesign is only as good as the photo you give it.

The photo

  • Stand in a corner, phone at chest height, landscape, wide lens (0.5x on most phones if it doesn't distort too much) so two walls and the floor are visible.
  • Daylight: open curtains, switch on lights, avoid harsh sun patches.
  • Clear clutter - clothes, bags, cables. Leave big furniture if you plan to keep it.
  • Take 2-3 angles of the same room.

Describing what you want

Be specific: "modern Indian, light wood, off-white walls, terracotta accents, keep the existing L-shaped sofa" works better than "make it nice".

Popular styles in Indian homes: modern Indian / contemporary, Scandinavian, Japandi, mid-century, minimal, traditional with brass and wood.

Turning a design into a real room

  • Treat the render as a mood board, not a blueprint - furniture sizes may not match your room.
  • Measure before buying; note window and door positions.
  • Start with what changes the room most: wall colour, lighting, curtains, a rug.
  • Show the render to your carpenter or interior designer - it saves hours of explaining.
